The stunning skies before the rain, giving us the gift of color

A bright rainbow dropping out of dark rain clouds onto golden autumn evergreens above green pastures and a split-rail fence, with mountains in the distance

The stunning skies before the rain, giving us the gift of color.

Dark clouds rolled in, the sun broke through low across the pastures, and a rainbow came straight down over the trees. Every direction we turned, there was another view worth stopping for.

A rainbow falling behind tall evergreens beyond a green pasture and a weathered wooden fence with a red glass ornament on one post
A glowing rainbow between storm clouds above sunlit evergreens, framed by deep red leaves in the foreground
A rainbow coming down over a neighboring farm with fenced paddocks and a white horse, seen beneath the branches of a big maple tree
A golden rainbow over a pasture and fence line, seen past the red arms of an old farm tractor loader
