The kitty's honest opinion of York

This is how my kitty feels about having York here. Lol!

She has opinions, and she lets them be heard. A new dog in the house is a lot to take in, and she tells us so — loudly — from her favorite spot on the counter.

While they're with us, both new arrivals are getting the full welcome: baths, flea meds, and weight-loss diets. It isn't glamorous work, but it's the part that matters — getting them clean, comfortable and healthy while their person recovers.

York is a good sport about all of it. He's old, hilariously overweight, and entirely unbothered — he just keeps trotting out to the pasture like he owns the place.

And Miku has found her bed and a quiet corner of her own. Slowly, one day at a time, they're settling in.
