A wonderful family, and a darling ten-week-old

This wonderful family stayed for a night with a darling ten-week-old baby — and the whole farm seemed to soften around her.

They were here for the horse auction, traveling with a horse trailer, and we made room for the trailer right here so they didn't have to drag it around town. There was even an extra bedroom for Mom's sister, so everyone had their own space.

It was such a pleasure having them. They visited with the barnyard rescues, soaked in the views out every window, and left this lovely note behind:

“Elizabeth was very flexible in our needs. We were in town for the horse auction and I was traveling with a horse trailer. She allowed us to park the trailer and unhook, which was so nice not to drag it around everywhere during our stay. The location was safe and secure — I did not feel like I had to worry about it. I was also traveling with my infant son and my sister so we needed separate rooms, and she did, in fact, have an extra room available! The pillows were so amazingly comfortable, the sheets were soft and luxurious, and the towels I believe were Turkish cotton! Beautiful views out every window and lots of friendly barnyard rescues to pet. The hot tub and sauna were clean and ready to use. We will definitely be staying here again next time we attend the auction!”
